Streak-free windows: why osmosis water makes the difference

Lime streaks on freshly washed windows almost always come from the water, not the technique.

Why your windows show streaks again after cleaning

You have the windows cleaned, they look great, and a day later the streaks are back. That is usually not down to the cleaner but to the water. Tap water contains lime and minerals, and they stay behind as soon as the water dries.

What osmosis water actually is

In osmosis, water is forced through a membrane that holds back lime, salts and minerals. What is left is demineralised water: pure water with nothing dissolved in it. It dries without residue, and therefore without streaks. Drying off with a squeegee is no longer needed.

Why that is also safer

Because you no longer have to dry off, you can work from ground level with a telescopic pole. Great heights are then reachable without a cherry picker or ladder. Less climbing means less risk and often lower costs, because no access equipment needs hiring.

How often makes sense

For offices and commercial buildings a fixed route works best: monthly or quarterly, depending on the location. Buildings on a busy road or close to the sea get dirty faster. A fixed frequency is cheaper per visit than occasional cleaning, because the dirt is never on there for long.
